Departed this life on Friday, February 12, 2010. He is survived by three children Joseph Gunn, Adrian Litchfield and Anthony George; his parents Columbus and Carolyn George; seven sisters; three brothers; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 10 a.m. funeral service at 11 a.m. at Mount Horab Baptist church, 2914 Bladensburg Rd. NE. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by JOHN T. Joseph George was one of the handsome and personable persons who always made me laugh, when we had to take pictures for the school, who did you see smiling from ear to ear Joseph, I was very happy to see him at our classmate Dwaine Carry's pool party in the summertime, I had not seen him in years. He will be truley missed. Blessings go out to the family, remember all the good, fond,happy,sad,and indifferent times you had, and never forgetting most of all the power of Love!
