I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of my old friend, Reggie. My condolences to his family.

Regi was my Best Friend and Best Man, from elementary (Kimball), Jr. High (Sousa), and High (McKinley). Any time we lose one from the Techite Family, especially our class, who we've partied with, studied with, and even argued and conversated with, its not easy but God doesn't make mistakes. Regi was my Brother and Friend.  From 3600 Ely Place S.E. to all areas in the DMV.  With all of us our bond is our Almighty God who has promised us everlasting life.  The last thing Regi told me was "To Live!"  Pray for the family, and Techite Family, I'm also asking you to intercede on my behalf as well.  God bless you all.  Isaiah 40:28-31.

This truly saddens me as Reggie was one of my very best friends..

Can my heart be any heavier after reading of Regi's passing? I'm still trying to catch my breath...The ONLY comfort I have (and his family too I'm sure) is knowing that my brother in Christ was saved. I'll never forget him, nor his testimony of how God arrested his attention. He told me long ago that prior to his accepting Christ, I was the first to speak to him about the Lord. He said I used to write him fire & brimstone letters while I was away (overseas in the military). We both laughed when I told him that I didn't even remember writing to him at all, much less writing fire & brimstone letters." He said: "Oh yeah, you did! And I kept all of them; they're in my mother's attic." So glad God blessed me with his genuine friendship, his smile, his laughter, his honesty, his intelligent wit and an opportunity to chat with Pastor Cooke a few years back...  My sincerest condolences to his loved ones...
